Contact the Facilities Service Center for all service and work requests, trouble calls and maintenance emergencies for the Caltech campus.
When contacting the Service Center, please have the following information available when making a request:
- Location of work to be accomplished (building, floor & room #)
- Description of work required (photos can be uploaded as well)
- Contact person's full name, telephone number & email address
Place your service request online by submitting a request via the AiM Customer Portal. Note entries submitted outside of normal business hours and after 3pm will be processed the next business day.

Who Pays for What?
Installation, maintenance or repairs of department equipment and property is typically charged to the requesting party. Examples of chargeable equipment include movable equipment, fume hoods, power conditioners, Neslabs, vacuum systems clean steam generators, sterilizers, processed chilled water systems, cold rooms, etc., carpet replacement and air conditioning equipment specifically installed to serve a unique piece of laboratory equipment.
